Strategy & Value Creation is EY's executive strategy practice. The EY-Parthenon brand is the home of our fast-growing global strategy capability. We advise corporate and private equity clients on strategic and on strategic, commercial, operational, and investment-related decisions that drive long-term value creation. Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates to join as a Consultant in the Canadian Strategy & Value Creation team.



Consultants will play an integral role that involves working closely with other members of the rapidly growing Americas Strategy & Value Creation team to deliver a variety of engagements.

We are looking for candidates who can:

- Independently perform primary and secondary research including data gathering, interviews, and surveys
- Develop and execute workplans including analytics, both qualitative and quantitative
- Develop the 'story' - the output to narrate the solution to the client's problem - including written output (slides)
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with client stakeholders
- Foster an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements
- Develop a community within the team - volunteering to support business development activities or other internal practice build initiatives such as Learning, Operations, Resourcing, Recruitment, etc.
- Proactively build a personal network within the firm
- Be comfortable in a team workplace that actively encourages members voicing different views to reach the optimal solution for clients
- Be entrepreneurial in seeking ways to deliver increased client impact

Ideal qualifications for this position include:

- Engineering, Finance or Commerce undergrad (MA/MBA is an asset)




- At least 2 years of work/leadership experience with demonstrated impact with management consulting or corporate strategy experience preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills - analytical, quantitative and conceptual
- Finance and operational knowledge - strong understanding of profitability and cash-flow metrics, including the ability to explain how operational improvements affect financial statements
- Advanced modelling skills (Excel) and visualization skills (PowerPoint, Tableau and/or Power BI)
- Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under demanding environment, overtime and adhere to project deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated track record of communicating complex ideas and findings to senior executives
- A passion for delivering impact, demonstrated initiative taking, high energy and curiosity, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Comfort with ambiguity
