We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator/ Materials Coordinator to support warehouse and production operations at a manufacturing facility in Aurora.
This is a hands-on material handling position responsible for keeping production supplied with raw materials, moving finished goods into the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating various types of material handling equipment and working in a quick-paced production environment where safety, accuracy, and keeping materials moving are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Material Supply to Production
- Retrieve pallets of raw materials, including paper products, plastic wrap, cardboard packaging, and other production materials.
- Transport materials from the warehouse to designated production staging areas.
- Ensure production lines receive materials on time to prevent delays or stoppages.
- Respond to replenishment requests from production throughout the shift.
- Verify the correct product, quantity, and condition of materials before delivery.
Finished Goods & Warehouse Movement
- Collect completed pallets of finished goods from the production area.
