Job Description Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer tojoin a platform engineering team supporting enterprise cloud environments andapplication teams.
The role combines hands-on platform engineering with supportfor application teams consuming shared cloud services. The successful candidatewill work with infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, database services andsupporting platform components, troubleshooting issues and helping applicationteams successfully consume standardized cloud capabilities.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong Terraform skills, solid cloud infrastructure knowledge and the ability toindependently diagnose infrastructure and connectivity issues.
Key Responsibilities
Develop,maintain and support reusable infrastructure-as-code componentsusing Terraform.
Supportapplication teams consuming shared cloud platform services andtroubleshoot infrastructure-related requests and issues.
Workwith managed database services and supporting infrastructure, includingdatabase provisioning, configuration, connectivity and security.
Supportcloud security and encryption capabilities including customer-managedkeys (CMK) and Key Vault integrations.
Diagnoseand resolve cloud networking issues across platform and applicationenvironments.
Workwithin Git Hub-based engineering workflows, repositories and CI/CDprocesses.
Developand maintain automation and supporting tooling using Python ;experience with Go is beneficial.
Participatein troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across infrastructure,application connectivity and shared platform services.
Collaboratewith internal engineering teams and client/application teams, working toexternally driven priorities and delivery timelines.
Contributeto the continued development and improvement of reusable cloud platformcapabilities.
Requirements Required Skills
Stronghands-on Terraform experience developing and maintainingproduction infrastructure.
Strongunderstanding of cloud networking , including networkingconcepts, routing, connectivity, DNS, network security andtroubleshooting.
Experiencesupporting managed database infrastructure , ideally including Postgre SQL or similar managed relational database platforms.
Experiencewith cloud security services such as Key Vault, encryption andcustomer-managed keys.
Strongexperience using Git Hub for source control andcollaborative engineering.
Strongtroubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Abilityto work directly with application/client teams and independently drivetechnical issues through resolution.

Experiencewith Go.
Experiencedeveloping or maintaining Git Hub Actions workflows.
Familiaritywith Kubernetes and container platforms.
Experiencebuilding reusable enterprise cloud platform modules and standardizedinfrastructure patterns.
Experienceworking in a large, regulated enterprise setting.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on cloud/platform engineerwho is equally comfortable working in Terraform, investigating a database ornetworking problem, and helping an application team consume a shared platformcapability. This person should be capable of working independently,troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems and contributing directly toproduction-grade platform code.
