Position Purpose:

The Financial Reporting & Accounting Specialist provides technical accounting and financial reporting support for tangible capital assets and real estate programs. The role is responsible for complex accounting analysis, reconciliations, financial reporting, and oversight of outsourced financial activities to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant financial information. Working closely with Finance, Real Estate, ministries, agencies, and service providers, the position supports sound financial decision-making, robust internal controls, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

What You Will Do:

- Lead accounting and reporting activities related to tangible capital assets, including capitalization, acquisitions, transfers, disposals, amortization, and asset retirement obligations.
- Analyze complex transactions and provide recommendations on appropriate accounting treatment and financial reporting requirements.
