Myticas Consulting is seeking two Senior Azure Data Platform Technical Consultants for a consulting engagement supporting a major banking client.
The consultants will provide hands-on engineering support for the assessment and remediation of an enterprise Azure data platform built primarily on Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
The work will focus heavily on platform resiliency, disaster recovery, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, security and operational readiness. Candidates should be comfortable assessing an existing production setting, identifying technical gaps, recommending improvements and then participating directly in the remediation work.
Key Responsibilities
Assess Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and related Azure platform components
Review existing platform configurations, processes and technical artifacts
Identify resiliency, disaster recovery,



security, monitoring and operational gaps
Review and improve Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code implementations
Assess and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
Implement approved technical remediation work packages
Support improvements to backup, recovery and platform-resiliency capabilities
Perform technical troubleshooting, testing and validation
Document findings, recommendations and implementation results
Contribute to a prioritized remediation roadmap and execution plan
Collaborate with the Technical Lead and other engineering resources
Communicate technical risks, progress and recommendations to project stakeholders
