In this role, you will play an important part in leveraging the real estate portfolio through sound accounting and financial reporting practices to ensure maximum value for our clients. You will play an instrumental role in developing and completing the financial reporting for the foreign real estate portfolio totaling over $8.5 billion. Outside of the financial reporting cycles, you will have the prospect to contribute to special projects focused on driving efficiencies across the team.
Note: This is a hybrid role with a strong preference to be in our Edmonton office
Responsibilities Oversee the shareholder capital call and distribution process,



reviewing notices for accuracy and compliance with shareholder agreements, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained, and monitoring timely issuance
Review and approve vendor payments
Provide oversight and review of annual financial accounts prepared for assigned entities under Luxembourg GAAP and consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS
Lead the audit process for assigned portfolio of legal entities acting as the main point of contact for auditors
Lead and oversee an assigned portfolio of legal entities, acting as the primary escalation and relationship contact for asset managers and external accounting service providers
Review intercompany loan schedules and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable
