Senior Project Manager – ERP / SAP Location: Remote (Canada) | Occasional onsite in Edmonton Duration: Long-term Contract Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple ERP transformation projects for the Government of Alberta. The projects include Procurement Modernization, OneStream (Budgeting & Forecasting), and Complex Scheduling/HRIS . The candidate should have strong experience in managing large ERP/SAP projects, handling stakeholders, risks, budgets, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end ERP/SAP project delivery. Handle project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Lead procurement-related system projects (Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Contract-to-Pay). Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning system implementations. Work on HRIS/workforce scheduling projects.
Prepare project status reports and executive updates. Coordinate with business teams, IT teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders. Ensure smooth delivery and governance across multiple projects.
Required
Skills 10 years of Project Management experience. Robust experience with SAP / ERP implementations . Experience in Procurement systems . Experience in Budgeting & Forecasting solutions . Experience in HRIS / Workforce Management / Scheduling . Strong risk management and stakeholder management skills. Public-sector/government project experience is preferred. PMP certification is a plus. Work Setup Remote role (must work within Canada) Occasional travel to Edmonton if required Candidate must have their own laptop/equipment
