Our Grande Prairie distribution location has an opportunity available for an INSIDE SALES position. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong people and organizational skills dedicated to meeting customer needs.

The position will be responsible for the quotation, sale, and expediting of product to Apex Distribution’s end users and EPC clients. The successful candidate will execute project orders to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Some duties will include:

- Ensuring customer service levels are maintained and customer satisfaction is maximized
- Processing orders by telephone, mail, electronically or in person
- Checking inventory for product availability, delivery, scheduling and price verification
- Extensive communication with customers including backorder reports, expediting, and coordination of inspections

Qualifications:

- Customer service skills, strong oral, written communication and trouble shooting skills
- Able to prioritize and manage a busy workload




- Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player
- Conscientious, detail oriented, excellent organizational and time-management skills

The ideal candidate will have some experience in quoting and selling PVF product and proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel with an aptitude for software systems. The successful candidate must be able to manage priorities to meet customer deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. They will also be responsible in building and maintaining a positive relationship with Apex Distribution’s vendors/suppliers.
