Gibbons Whistler is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Finance team. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience, robust accrual knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This role is focused on providing accurate financial insights while fostering collaboration across operational leaders for ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements across multiple units
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and year-end papers
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes




• Partner with operational leaders on budgets and pricing strategies
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting and controls

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset
• Exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills
• Experience with Sage 300 or similar financial systems Drive results and foster collaboration within the Finance team at Gibbons Whistler.
