Contribute to sustainable mining as a Field Services Welder at Weir in Lively, ON. This full time role involves fabrication, installation, and high-quality welding on customer sites. As a Field Services Welder with Weir, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring efficient mining operations through your expertise in welding and equipment installation. You will perform tasks ranging from surface preparation to executing quality welds, while adhering to safety standards. Regular travel to customer sites within a 1-2 hour radius of Sudbury is required, with evening and weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform fabrication and installation of heavy equipment
• Execute welding in various positions for quality results




• Repair broken parts and prepare surfaces as required
• Follow rotating shift schedules efficiently
• Maintain high safety standards during operations

Requirements:
• CWB Welding Certification required
• 6-12 months welding experience or equivalent
• Ability to read fabrication and welding specifications
• Strong communication skills for collaboration
