THE ROLE
As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will lead the development of the organisation’s AWS capability while helping support and evolve an existing Azure environment.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Designing and building secure,
scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Establishing AWS Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and engineering standards
- Acting as the AWS SME across the business
- Owning architecture decisions and producing technical design documentation
- Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
- Developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Driving automation through scripting and cloud-native tooling
- Supporting cloud networking, security, and platform operations
- Collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentoring junior engineers and promoting cloud engineering best practice
- Helping shape the transition towards a multi-cloud strategy
