Job Summary

B&J; Global Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR) to join our Accounting and Finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for customer invoicing, accounts receivable management, payment follow-ups, account reconciliation, and resolving customer billing inquiries.

As a significant portion of our clients are Mandarin-speaking businesses, professional working proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required.

Candidates with previous accounting or accounts receivable experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, trucking, transportation, or 3PL industries will be strongly preferred.

We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable communicating with customers, and capable of managing multiple accounts and billing-related tasks efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & Billing

- Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices.
- Maintain and update accounts receivable records.
- Monitor outstanding balances and prepare AR aging reports.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and outstanding payments.
- Prepare customer statements and payment reminders.
- Record and apply customer payments to corresponding invoices.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payment terms, and account balances.
- Resolve billing disputes and coordinate adjustments with internal departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing and AR reconciliation.
- Provide regular updates regarding outstanding payments and collection status.

Logistics Billing & Coordination
- Review warehousing, transportation, and logistics service charges for invoicing.




- Verify billing details against customer quotations, service agreements, and operational records.
- Assist with billing for storage, receiving, shipping, handling, fulfillment, and transportation services.
- Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to confirm service charges.
- Identify missing charges, incorrect billing amounts, and other discrepancies.
- Support the improvement of customer billing processes and accuracy.

Bilingual Customer Communication
- Communicate directly with Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking clients regarding invoices and payments.
- Respond to billing inquiries through email, phone, and approved communication platforms.
- Explain invoice details, payment status, and billing adjustments clearly and professionally.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances while maintaining positive business relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer billing concerns.

Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, invoicing, collections, or a related accounting role.
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional working proficiency in English are required.
- Ability to communicate with customers in spoken and written Chinese regarding invoices and payments.
- Experience preparing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer communication and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.




- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous AR or accounting experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, trucking, or 3PL industries.
- Experience with logistics-related invoicing and customer billing.
- Knowledge of warehousing charges, transportation charges, and logistics pricing structures.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or other accounting systems.
- Familiarity with WMS, TMS, or logistics billing platforms.
- Experience handling customer payment disputes and overdue accounts.
- Knowledge of GST/HST invoicing and Canadian accounting procedures.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting hourly wage: CAD $20.00
- Final hourly wage is negotiable based on relevant work experience, skilled qualifications, and demonstrated abilities.
- Candidates with strong accounts receivable skills and relevant logistics industry experience may be considered for higher starting compensation.
- Full-time, permanent position.
