We are seeking a reliable and qualified Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering appliances to customers, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service. This role requires physical strength, effective communication skills, and experience with warehouse or commercial driving operations.
The Appliance Delivery
Driver will play a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation for timely and courteous service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport appliances to residential and commercial locations
- Load and unload appliances using appropriate moving equipment such as dollies or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure appliances are securely fastened during transit to prevent damage
- Assist customers with the placement and setup of appliances upon delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Maintain a clean, organised delivery vehicle and work area.
- Work as part of a team to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances safely, with assistance and proper equipment as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous delivery, moving, or appliance-handling experience is an asset, but not required.
Pay: $18.20-$20.00 per hour
