We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This is a full time position with competitive pay and benefits. You will also be required to keep the truck clean and in good shape, while checking all fluids daily and driving to road rules and regulations
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machinery
- Install and connect pipes to fixtures, equipment, or other piping systems
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, or fittings
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper installation and functionality of piping systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in HVAC, rigging, welding, plumbing, and blueprint reading
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed
- Mechanical knowledge of various pipe materials and their properties
