We are seeking an ambitious, professional, and results-driven Art Sales Consultant to join our Vancouver team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Relationships

- Proactively engage with gallery visitors, understand their interests, and guide them through the artwork selection process.
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service while creating a welcoming and professional gallery experience.
- Drive sales performance by consistently working toward achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
- Confidently present and sell high-value artwork through effective communication, product knowledge, and negotiation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with collectors and clients through professional follow-up.
- Assist clients with artwork selection, placement, and interior design recommendations.

Gallery Operations & Presentation
- Maintain exceptional standards of gallery cleanliness, organization, and artwork presentation.
- Ensure all artworks, displays, and gallery areas are presented to the highest professional standards.
- Assist with artwork handling, inventory management, and daily operational responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales documentation, and administrative information.
- Support gallery exhibitions, special events, and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve gallery objectives and maintain an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in luxury retail, fine art, furniture, interior design, or another premium sales environment.
- Proven ability to build client relationships, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation, confidence, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Willingness to develop strong knowledge of our artists, collections, and artwork.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Skills - An Asset

- Experience in fine art sales, luxury retail, or high-value consultative sales.
- Knowledge of interior design, visual merchandising, or artwork placement.
- Familiarity with Photoshop or design visualization software.
- Experience with client relationship management and inventory systems.
