We are seeking a motivated, professional, and sales-driven Assistant Gallery Supervisor to join our Vancouver team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced sales professional who demonstrates leadership potential, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and is ready to develop their career in a premium gallery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Relationships

- Actively engage with gallery visitors, present artwork, and confidently close sales.
- Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client experiences.
- Develop lasting relationships with collectors through professional communication and follow-up.
- Assist clients with artwork selection, placement, and design recommendations.

Gallery Operations & Team Support
- Assist the Gallery Supervisor and management with daily gallery operations.
- Lead by example and support sales consultants in maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the gallery is prepared for business.
- Maintain exceptional gallery cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
- Ensure artworks are properly displayed, aligned, and maintained according to company standards.
- Support inventory management, artwork handling, and daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with artwork rotations, installations, exhibitions, and special events.
- Identify operational issues and promptly communicate concerns to the Gallery Supervisor or management.
- Take responsibility for assigned duties and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in luxury retail, fine art, interior design, or another premium sales environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Professional presentation and a confident, positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team workplace.
- Reliability, initiative, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Genuine interest in contemporary art and design.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Skills - An Asset
- Experience in fine art or luxury retail sales.
- Knowledge of interior design and artwork placement.
- Experience with visual merchandising and gallery presentation.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, inventory systems, or client management software.
