Job Description - Forklift Operator / Dock Worker

Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm start time approximately 4 hour shift, flexible to work additional hours if needed.
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within a distribution setting. This role supports daily warehouse functions by preparing shipments, verifying product information, and ensuring inventory is handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload various materials.
- Label shipments and verify product information and destinations.
- Build skids and wrap products to prepare them for transport.
- Maintain accuracy when handling, staging,



and organizing materials.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the onsite supervisor.

Requirements

- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace during a condensed shift.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
