Job Overview

Vencomatic North America is looking for a CAD Drafter to join our Project Team in Calgary. You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Leaders, Sales, and Engineering to create accurate, practical drawings for poultry equipment projects across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

· Create and revise project drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.

· Develop equipment layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and installation drawings.

· Incorporate architectural and building drawings into equipment layouts.

· Create and maintain AutoCAD blocks, Revit families, templates, and drawing standards.

· Work with both metric and imperial measurements.

· Review drawings for dimensions, clearances, equipment fit, and completeness.





· Support Project Managers and Project Leaders throughout project preparation and execution.

· Help improve and standardize our North American drafting processes.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

· Diploma or certificate in CAD Drafting, Engineering Design Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field.

· Proficiency with AutoCAD and working knowledge or experience with Revit.

· Ability to read architectural, construction, mechanical, and technical drawings.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· 1-3 years of drafting experience preferred. Experience with equipment, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial projects is an asset.
