We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding customers through the financing process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, dealership operations, and excellent customer service skills.
The Finance
Manager will work closely with sales teams and customers to secure financing options that meet both parties' needs, contributing to the overall success of the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable financing options and explain terms clearly
- Prepare and review finance contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Negotiate terms with lenders and financial institutions to secure favorable deals for customers
- Collaborate with sales staff to facilitate the closing of vehicle sales
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financing programs, incentives, and industry regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns throughout the financing process
- Manage documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
- Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial services, preferably within an automotive dealership workplace
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable financing terms
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Solid understanding of sales processes, math skills, and financial calculations
- Dealership experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills to explain complex financial information clearly
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to auto financing
