We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician, or experienced apprentice, to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on passenger vehicles, light duty trucks.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in assembly or installation of mechanical components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic with dealership background preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and schematics is advantageous
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
This position requires a dedicated individual with a robust technical background in automotive and industrial repair. Candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and machinery while adhering to safety standards. Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
