Gogii Games is looking for an Animator to create and revise existing animation, maintain an animation library, and asset creation. Our ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of traditional animation principles, a commitment to delivering polished animation and bring a fresh look for content in development. This is a remote position and we do not presently offer relocation packages. Any candidate would need to be a Halifax, Nova Scotia resident to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop and produce realistic or representational 2D based animation
- Create and maintain animation library assets for use and reuse in production
- Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

1+ years of traditional animation experience

- Experience with 2D animation software such as Harmony, Toon Boom Studio
- Adobe Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively with different teams
- The ability to work effectively independently and within an organized team environment
