We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers.
Duties
- You will be responsible for crafting high standard quality tea and coffee.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
