Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, delivering memorable experiences to our customers while ensuring food safety and proper handling standards are met.

Prior barista experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space to meet health regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed,



including assembling food items or snacks.
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper hygiene practices during all duties.
- Handle cash handling responsibly with accuracy and integrity.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

- Previous Barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Proficiency with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and serve customers effectively.
