54 Brewing Co. is a local craft brewery in Markham. We're looking for a friendly part-time bartender to join our taproom team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages.

Compensation

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Monitor guest consumption for responsible service, adhering to food safety and alcohol regulations
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operations




- Collaborate with team members to deliver a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in bartending or serving in a restaurant setting
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with positive communication skills
- Experience in the food industry that highlights teamwork, hospitality, and multitasking abilities

Requirement

- Valid Smart Serve certificate (must-have)
