Bar Neon is searching for a friendly, hard working and hospitality focused individual to join our growing service team as a bartender and server. We are a fun, welcoming environment with an indoor-outdoor service area, who pride ourselves on our commitment to the guest and the quality of both the products and service we are providing them.
● Greeting guests in a friendly & welcoming manner
- Take food & drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
- Enter orders into POS for transmittal to kitchen staff
- Knowledge of the menu, with ability to make suggestions
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals, take action if necessary to correct any issues
- Collect payment from tables
- Prepare checks that itemize total meal costs and sales taxes
Requirements
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment and in a timely manner
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with hosts, cooks, bussers and other staff members
- Ability to perform high quality work while unsupervised
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system
- Open availability
- Able to work until 3am when needed.
- Available to work over the December-January Holidays. Candidates who are not available in this period will not be considered.
Desired Work Experience ● One year experience is preferred
●Experience in hospitality/customer service industry a greater asset

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
