Bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor (French and English Required, RIBO or OTL Licence Required) - REMOTE in Canada

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor to join a growing personal insurance team supporting customers with their home and automobile insurance needs.

If you hold an active RIBO or OTL licence and communicate professionally in both French and English, this opportunity offers competitive compensation, remote work flexibility, excellent benefits, a Defined Benefit Pension Plan, and ongoing opportunities for career development.

Both RIBO and OTL licences are accepted. You must currently hold at least one of these licences to qualify.

Compensation: $54,000 to $65,000 base salary, plus an annual performance bonus.

- RIBO-licensed professionals: Up to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- OTL-licensed professionals: Up to $62,000 to $63,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including a one-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Work Arrangement: Remote within Canada, subject to performance expectations and operational requirements. Hybrid options may also be available.

What You'll Do

As a Bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor, you will help customers understand their home and auto insurance coverage, navigate policy changes, and find solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

- Respond to inbound customer calls and written inquiries in French and English.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and support regarding home and automobile insurance.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and insurance transactions accurately.
- Assess property and automobile risks using established underwriting guidelines.
- Help customers understand coverage options and resolve insurance-related concerns.




- Complete policy rewrites and remarketing activities when required.
- Maintain accurate policy records and documentation.
- Work with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve customer needs.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to recommend additional insurance coverage.
- Maintain strong customer service, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Meet established service expectations while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

- An active RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) licence OR an active OTL (Other Than Life) insurance licence.
- Professional proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to support insurance inquiries, policy servicing, and customer conversations.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply insurance procedures, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently while meeting established service and performance expectations.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in personal lines insurance, particularly home and automobile coverage.
- Experience with policy servicing, renewals, underwriting, or remarketing.
- Experience supporting customers in a regulated insurance environment.
- Ability to identify appropriate insurance solutions based on customer needs.

Important: An active RIBO or OTL licence is mandatory. Candidates do not need to hold both licences.
