Job summary

Our Edmonton branch distributes truck and trailer parts and services trucks and trailers for customers across the commercial trailer and heavy-duty markets. As Branch Manager, you lead a team across sales, parts, service, warehouse and delivery. You are responsible for the branch’s sales growth, profitability and safety, and for the performance and development of all branch staff. This is a hands-on role: you are on the floor and with customers every day.

This role is a great fit for someone who combines a strong parts or service background in trucks and trailers with a clear sales position, whether you are already a branch manager or ready to take that step.

What You’ll Do

- Grow sales and margin by building strong B2B customer relationships, winning current accounts, and coaching the sales and counter team.
- Manage and align branch operations with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including budgets, financial metrics and operating costs.
- Oversee parts distribution, warehouse, delivery and the truck and trailer service shop, keeping service quality, turnaround and customer satisfaction high.
- Lead with a general manager mindset, driving business growth and operational excellence through entrepreneurial leadership.
- Make key decisions on hiring, disciplinary actions,



performance evaluations, complaints and conflict resolution.
- Lead the branch’s transition to new ERP.
- Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Be present on the floor and with customers, leading by example.
- Communicate clearly with employees, customers and management, and collaborate with teams across the organization.
- Develop and lead your team through coaching, training and clear accountability.

What We’re Looking For

- The profile that fits this role combines two experiences:
- Parts, service or operations experience in the truck, trailer or heavy-duty industry (for example parts manager, service manager, parts counter or service advisor, or branch manager).
- A clear sales position with results: outside or inside sales rep, account manager, key account manager, territory manager or sales manager, with proven growth in accounts or revenue.
- Experience leading or supervising a team in parts, sales, service or warehouse. Managing 10 or more employees is an asset.
- A good understanding of service operations (shop, technicians, work orders, warranty).
- Experience with ERP and inventory systems.
- A clear, direct communicator who can make and explain tough decisions.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. COR or health and safety training is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
