Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Thomas is seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience.

Responsibilities:

- Set Up and Maintain Breakfast Area: Prepare and set up the breakfast area according to IHG standards, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of a variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold items, beverages, and condiments.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or special requests with a positive attitude.
- Monitor and Replenish: Regularly monitor food and beverage levels, replenishing items as needed to ensure a consistent and high-quality breakfast experience for guests.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary breakfast area, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, counters, equipment, and utensils.
- Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:



Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
- Ontario Food Handler certified
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the breakfast area is impeccably maintained and well-presented.
- Customer-Focused: A friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work early morning shifts (5:45AM Start Time)
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations and practices.
- Initiative: Ability to take initiative and handle tasks independently when needed.
- May be required to work weekends, and/or holidays as we are in operation 24/7 - 365 days a year.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 32.0 per week
