We are seeking a Business Development & Market Research Specialist to support our long-term development through market intelligence, strategic planning, and meaningful engagement with families.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

- Conduct research on the supplementary education market in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Analyze competitors' programs, pricing, positioning, and enrollment strategies.
- Identify emerging market trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for business development.
- Prepare market research reports and competitive analysis presentations.
- Evaluate market opportunities for existing and potential educational programs.

Business Development & Strategic Planning
- Identify target customer segments and develop strategies to reach prospective families.
- Research and evaluate potential business development opportunities, partnerships, and enrollment channels.
- Develop and present business development proposals and enrollment growth recommendations to management.
- Analyze business performance, enrollment trends, and customer feedback to support strategic decisions.
- Assist in implementing approved business development initiatives.

Enrollment Strategy & Customer Engagement




- Analyze prospective families' educational needs and decision-making factors.
- Develop recommendations for improving enrollment processes and customer engagement.
- Communicate with prospective families to explain educational programs and enrollment options.
- Coordinate with academic teams to ensure program offerings align with identified market needs.
- Evaluate enrollment conversion trends and recommend improvements.

Educational Program Understanding
- Collaborate with teaching and curriculum teams to understand Boya's educational programs.
- Participate in occasional classroom activities or educational assessments when appropriate.
- Apply knowledge of curriculum and student learning needs to market research and business development initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct independent research and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in market research, business development, or educational services is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Greater Toronto Area education market is an asset.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is an asset.
