Plays a critical role in enabling reliable, high‑volume manufacturing of Ciena’s optical component technologies. This position partners closely with Research and Development (R&D;), manufacturing partners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, automated test solutions that support both sustaining products and new product introduction (NPI). How You Will Make An Impact
Support high‑volume manufacturing by debugging, maintaining, and enhancing automated test systems for optical components
Provide technical insight into test instrument selection and station design
Drive capital efficiency through test time reduction, yield improvement, and optimization of test strategies
Support failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation for components, sub‑systems, and field returns
