Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for cardiology procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and understanding
- Operate advanced cardiology equipment such as electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) machines, stress testing systems, and echocardiography devices with precision
- Conduct diagnostic tests including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests to assess cardiac function
- Record, analyze, and document test results accurately for review by cardiologists
- Maintain equipment calibration, cleanliness, and proper functioning to ensure optimal performance
- Assist cardiologists during procedures by providing technical support and managing patient flow
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards,



and medical terminology guidelines to ensure high-quality care delivery

Requirements

- Proven experience or training as a Cardiology Technologist or in a similar cardiovascular diagnostic role
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to cardiology procedures and patient care
- Proficiency in operating cardiology diagnostic equipment with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy
- Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies is preferred
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
