Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. Must have a valid Woking at Heights Ticket, Hardhat and steel toed boots.

This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and an interest in developing skills across multiple construction disciplines, including woodworking, drywall, concrete forming, and more. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain practical experience while contributing to diverse projects in residential, commercial.

Responsibilities

- Assist senior carpenters and construction teams with daily tasks on job sites
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Support the installation of cabinetry, drywall, siding, flooring, tile, and roofing materials
- Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Aid in framing, drywall finishing, caulking, painting preparation, and other carpentry-related tasks
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling across job sites




- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Contribute to site cleanup and organization to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of carpentry principles or related construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction projects
- Ability to read schematics or blueprints is a plus
- Solid work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience with drywall installation, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, or electrical/plumbing experience is advantageous but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to follow safety guidelines and instructions from experienced team members
