We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming environment for all shoppers. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance our customer engagement and sales efforts.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in person or via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure products are well-presented and organized
- Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store workplace
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring positive resolution and customer retention
- Support inventory management tasks as needed, including stock replenishment and product organization
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
- Bilingual abilities (English and additional language) highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, including time management and the ability to build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising principles, and sales techniques such as upselling is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times
Pay: $23.75-$30.47 per hour
