Finning is actively seeking skilled Heavy Duty Mechanics to enhance support at the Artemis Blackwater mine site. This role demands a minimum of three years of mining experience and an Interprovincial Journeyperson certification. Your expertise will be critical in troubleshooting and performing equipment repairs while adhering to safety protocols and Finning’s service commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform independent repairs
• Comply with safety requirements and engage proactively
• Interface with customers for sales support and product inquiries




• Conduct component intervention diagnosis and repairs
• Perform field runner duties in the mine as necessary
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• Minimum 3 years mining mechanic experience
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
• Caterpillar equipment experience is an asset
• Ability to troubleshoot engine repairs independently
