About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for an 83-year-old gentleman living in Prince Edward County, near Picton. He lives at home with his spouse, who is very independent. He's experiencing some vision loss and mobility challenges-he walks independently but is getting close to needing a walker. He's slowing down and could benefit from companionship, light assistance with personal care, and help maintaining his independence. This is his first time receiving care, and the family is looking for someone who can build trust gradually and make him feel comfortable.

Responsibilities:

The caregiver will provide companionship and light personal care support. This includes helping with bathing or showering once a week, assisting with laundry, light housekeeping (tidying, wiping down counters, vacuuming), and providing gentle reminders and motivation for daily tasks.
