Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role involves supporting children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive interactions. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, and mealtimes to ensure safety at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times in accordance with established guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs




- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence, independence, and social skills

Skills

- Experience working with children in classroom or caregiving settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental milestones
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Solid teaching skills to facilitate engaging learning experiences
- Compassionate caregiving approach with patience and understanding
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children

Pay: From $27.85 per hour Expected hours: No more than 45.0 per week
