Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages.

Experience working with children, including those with special needs. This position offers an chance to make a positive impact on children's development while fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor children during activities, playtime, and mealtimes to ensure safety and well-being

- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity

- Assist with daily routines such as cleaning the daycare and washrooms

- Maintain a clean and organized environment to support health and safety standards

- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns

- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care





- Foster positive relationships with children to promote emotional security and confidence

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience or experience working with children preferred

- Knowledge of childcare practices and procedures

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and families

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and development

- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs

- Certification in CPR/First Aid mandatory

- Responsible Adult course mandatory

Pay: $21.00-$27.50 per hour
