Christmas Light Installer

Pearl’s Windows is a window and exterior cleaning company in Saskatoon, and this season we’re launching Christmas light installs. Our team has done holiday light installs in Calgary, and now we’re bringing it here. It’s a premium, full-service setup: commercial-grade C9 lights custom-fit to each home, maintained through the season, then taken down and stored after.

We’re looking for reliable installers who are comfortable at heights and care about doing clean, careful work.

What you’ll be doing

- Installing commercial-grade C9 lights along rooflines, peaks, gutters and ridges
- Measuring runs, cutting wire to length, attaching male/female plugs and bulbing strands
- Clipping lights so every line is straight and evenly spaced, because the finished look is what clients are paying for
- Working on roofs and ladders using harnesses and pitch hoppers
- Planning each install on site, like finding power, routing wire and adapting to the home’s layout
- Handling in-season service calls (swapping bulbs, fixing sections) and takedowns after the holidays
- Being friendly and qualified with homeowners, and leaving every property clean

Safety This is a heights job, and you’ll be on a roof or ladder for most of the day.

Most homes we work on in Saskatoon are low to the ground, so it’s nothing extreme. You’ll be trained in fall protection and ladder safety, all safety gear is provided, and you’re covered by WCB. Weather can move the schedule around, since we don’t put anyone on an icy or unsafe roof.

What we need

- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
- Comfort working on roofs and ladders, and the ability to carry and set up extension ladders
- Availability for early morning starts
- Strong critical thinking, so you can solve problems on a job without being walked through every step
- Willingness to work outdoors through a Saskatchewan winter

Nice to have

- Roofing, eavestrough or ladder experience
- Construction, trades or exterior home service experience

What you’ll get

- Full training on our install system, with no electrical experience needed
- Room to grow into a lead role as the lighting side expands
- Start Date: ASAP

Think you’d be a good fit? Apply today. We’re hiring now for the season.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
