Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our construction projects from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project teams to ensure bids are competitive and profitable. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality construction solutions efficiently, while maintaining strict cost control and adherence to project timelines.

Cost Estimation

- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and assess material, labor, and equipment costs.

Bid Preparation

- Create and submit competitive bids for projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers to review bid proposals and adjust estimates as necessary.

Market Research

- Conduct research on market trends, material costs, and labor rates to provide accurate and up-to-date estimates.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.

Project Collaboration

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to clarify project specifications and requirements.




- Attend project meetings to discuss estimates and address any potential issues.

Documentation and Reporting

- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of estimates for internal and external review.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and correspondence related to projects.

Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated on industry standards, new materials, and best practices in cost estimation.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance estimating skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a construction estimator or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $92,500.00-$125,000.00 per year
