Cleaning Services Sales Representative – Part-Time / Casual

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Schedule: Tuesdays, 3 hours per week (daytime)

Compensation: Fixed hourly wage, no commission

Location: Ajax and surrounding Durham Region communities

Overview

Fresh & Shiny Cleaning Services is seeking a motivated, professional and confident Cleaning Services Sales Representative to help expand our commercial cleaning client base throughout Durham Region.

This is a part-time prospect for someone who enjoys communicating with businesses, building professional relationships and generating new commercial cleaning opportunities.

The successful candidate will represent Fresh & Shiny professionally, introduce our services to prospective business clients and follow up consistently to help secure new commercial cleaning customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and contact potential commercial clients, including offices, property managers, construction companies and local businesses.
- Promote our commercial cleaning services through telephone calls, professional emails and scheduled in-person visits.
- Follow up with previously contacted businesses and new prospective customers.
- Present company-approved digital marketing materials and service information.
- Identify decision-makers and arrange cleaning consultations or site assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, contacts, follow-ups and sales activities.
- Build positive professional relationships that may lead to recurring commercial cleaning contracts.
- Report sales activities, opportunities and progress directly to the business owner.

All service pricing, quotations, proposals and commercial agreements require approval from the business owner.

Qualifications

Required:

- Excellent professional English communication, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Confidence speaking with business owners,



managers and other decision-makers.
- Professional presentation, initiative and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Availability for three hours every Tuesday.
- Ability to travel to business locations throughout Durham Region.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Preferred Assets:

- Experience in sales, business development, customer service or client relations.
- Education or training in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email and digital business communication tools.
- Experience contacting commercial clients or generating business leads.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Additional language skills are an asset.

Training and Performance Expectations Fresh & Shiny Cleaning Services will provide initial orientation, guidance, company-approved digital marketing materials and commercial prospecting resources.

An initial performance review will be conducted after 30 days.

The initial business development objective is to secure at least two new commercial cleaning clients. Performance will also be evaluated based on qualified leads, professional communication, consistent follow-up, documented activities and progress toward business growth.

Continued employment will be reviewed in accordance with business needs, performance and applicable employment terms.

Additional Work Opportunities

Candidates may also be considered for additional residential or commercial cleaning assignments, depending on qualifications, completed training, availability and company needs.

These assignments are separate from the scheduled commercial sales responsibilities.
