Position Details
CAPE Manufacturing is looking for a self-motivated CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team in a rural community.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the successful candidate’s duties include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with drafting to create accurate templates (Beamcut, Plasma Table, Robot Welder)
- Assure that templates match the customer drawings
- Balance workload with due dates to ensure all templates are created in time to keep structure shop production moving.
- Work with fellow teammates to help when requested on current projects in the shop, including but not limited to expanding scopes of work.
- Work closely with the company staff to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
- Interface with project coordinators to ensure accurate costing is recorded within jobs
- Actively participate in the Health and Safety Program, be proactive.
Qualifications & Requirements · Able to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised
· Familiar with P&ID; drawings, blueprints, and oilfield equipment (preferred but not required)
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
