Duties

- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas
- Clean up construction debris, garbage, waste, etc.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results
- Dispose of garbage and waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed diligently
- Perform general labour duties, including moving and organizing materials around the construction site as required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all spaces

Experience

- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred,



especially within commercial or large-scale environments such as a construction site
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Reliability is a very important asset

Safety Requirements

- Safety wear are required on site at all times: CSA approved hard hat, high visibility shirt/vest, and steel toe safety shoes/boots
- WHMIS Certified (can be obtained online same-day)
- Ontario Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps (can be obtained online same-day)
