We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and assist with various construction projects. This role involves hands-on work in building, repairing, and maintaining structures, requiring physical stamina and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to perform various tasks
- Support carpentry activities including framing, trimming, and installing fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing
- Conduct general handyman tasks as needed to support project completion
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work workplace
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Previous handyman experience or related skills are advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills in the construction field
Pay: $24.76-$30.43 per hour
