Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the successful completion of building tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Prior construction experience and familiarity with hand tools are highly valued, but we provide training for those eager to develop their skills in the industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to support pipelayer, equipment operators and other tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution
- Measure and cut materials accurately for various construction applications
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
- Assist with the installation of sewer and water main.
- Support team members in executing tasks related to excavation and civil work




- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project phase

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution
- Knowledge of civil construction, earth works, underground and operation of laser levels and GPS.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Positive communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills related to Excavation, civil work and grading with lazser levels and gps.
