Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cook/Cashier to join our dynamic food service team. This role combines food preparation, customer service, and cashiering responsibilities in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures




- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with excellent time management skills
