Job Purpose: The Customer Service Representative accepts and directs incoming calls, takes detailed messages, and provides basic information to callers. The incumbent will have front-line contact with the public and must represent the body shop in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Job Duties:

- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time they are put on hold
- Take detailed messages, including the caller's first and last name, company name if applicable, the time, and the message the caller wishes to leave
- Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner




- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries
- Prepare and update customer files
- Obtain customer's written approval on all repair orders at the time of the write-up or when closing additional add-on sales
- Close repair orders
- Ensure personal protective equipment is worn at all times when entering the shop
- Perform clerical and administrative and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and complete all assigned tasks
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Must speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism
- Must be able to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly
