Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality deli products, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties

- Prepare and package a variety of deli items, including meats, and cheeses

- Operate cash register for accurate cash handling and transactions

- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including counters, and equipment

- Restock shelves and display cases as needed to ensure product availability

- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience and sales opportunities

- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly





- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry roles is preferred

- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety protocols

- Experience with processing cash and interact purchases

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience

- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy

- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Food handling experience is a plus

- Excellent communication skills and a skilled attitude

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
