We’re Hiring a Dental Aid!

East End Dental is looking for a reliable, organized Dental Aid to support our team and help keep our clinic clean, stocked, and ready for patient care.

This is a support position focused on room preparation, cleaning, and instrument sterilization. Duties do not include taking X-rays or performing procedures requiring RDA qualifications.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms between patients.
- Set up treatment rooms with the required instruments and supplies.
- Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments according to clinic protocols.
- Complete required sterilization monitoring and records.
- Clean and disinfect reusable face shields and protective eyewear.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away clinic laundry.
- Restock treatment rooms and organize supplies.
- Keep sterilization and other work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with general clinic upkeep and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:





- Completion of a recognized course or certificate in dental instrument reprocessing or sterilization, covering cleaning, disinfection, packaging, and sterilization. Please identify your training on your résumé.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and clinic protocols.
- Dependability, punctuality, and valuable time management.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Previous experience in a dental setting is an asset. Position: Part Time/Full Time Temporary

Hours: 16-37 hours.

Wage: $18-$22 per hour
