We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Recall Coordinator/Reception to join our dynamic dental office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hyg schedule , ensuring a positive experience for our patients, and maintaining effective office procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental office practices.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix .
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information regarding services and appointments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare providers.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software is essential.
- Familiarity with Dentrix dental practice management software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
