Dr. Manicom and her team at Wellington Dental are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control. Duties
- Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments following strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times
- Prepare sterilized instruments for patient procedures, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and labeled
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory levels of dental supplies
- Assist with the organization and storage of sterilized instruments for easy access during procedures
- Ensure the sterilization area is kept clean,
organized, and compliant with health regulations
Qualifications and Qualities We Are Looking For
- Prior experience in a healthcare or dental setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed consistently
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills
